They are pretty wary of humans (and probably rightly so to be honest).Little grebe (Tachybaptus ruficollis) in the moat of the Imperial Palace, Tokyo. Heavy crop - this guy was a long way off and wasn't coming any closer, so I held my breath, tucked in my elbows, and did the best I could.
