I have befriended the local crows, and they recognise me as the guy with a bag of monkey nuts in his pocket. So, when they see me, they approach, hoping to get a monkey nut. When I give them one, they perform a ritual with it. They can only do it when there has been rain, and there are puddles about. If there is a puddle nearby, they will take the monkey nut to the puddle and break it open, before extracting the peanut. Rather than swallow it whole, they proceed to break it up into small pieces, which they dunk in the puddle, before finaly eating them.
