Post your Bird Portraits

You've been sharing some super shots, Ed! Looks like it was a great trip. When you get a chance, please take a moment to share (in the travel forum) some details of where you stayed in Colombia and any logistical details that might benefit others.
Thanks. I shared a bunch back in 2021 on the old POTN too. And they are on my flickr page in an album, both then and now with these previously unprocessed photos. I actually never went through all of them!! A couple I reprocessed with Topaz but most are newly uploaded, they were hiding in my files!!

I did an arranged photo tour, all the destinations and accomodations were picked by the tour guide, most were on private land/property where he has arrangements. I have done several tours with the same operator, the others to Costa Rica. The only public area I remember was when we went up to altitude (and cold) to find a rare hummingbird, we went to Los Nevados National Park.

Leucistic crow? Apologies for the quality; unsuitable camera and couldn't get close. Glossy black plumage can appear white in bright sunlight, which this was. Does that account for the large white area here, covering such a range of angles to the sun?
