There was a small flock of Cockatiels that came to feed and relax at my house for about 2 years. The flock slowly got smaller as they were picked off by predator's.
When they first started showing up, one of the males tried to land on me. I got a spare cage out of the garage. Put it out and the bird immediately got in and literally pulled the door closed.
Had him for about 4 years. Great singer but yes, loud. This is not him LoL...

Yes they can.. my guy was a bit bitey.. and fast at it!
Didn't get along with my Amazon parrot, she was super jealous.
He could sing though..
