Otter Cliff at Boulder Beach, Acadia National Park, Maine, USA. Had to get up arounf 3:30am to drive over there, park, walk a while in the dark with headlamps on, climb down and then over a couple hundred feet of very large slimy boulders that moved under my weight, also in the dark, and wedge in a tripod through unruly spaces between the boulders. Just standing was difficult. Waited for the correct light and snapped away. Was worth it. I also shot from this exact spot ten years before. I had my 5D3 with me this trip, but I had remembered that the time before I had slipped and almost destroyed my gear so I only mounted my cheaper SL1 and kit lens this time.

I've deliberatly left the flare in with this image to show how good the EF 11-24mm f4 L is with flare. This was with a drop in CPL.
