From wikipedia

Borkumriff was a lightship position from 1875 to 1988, originally at 53° 51′ 0″ N, 6° 26′ 0″ E, later at 53° 43′ 0″ N, 6° 23′ 0″ E (from 1970 onwards, due to changes in shipping lanes, at 53° 48′ 0″ N, 6° 22′ 0″ E), approximately 30 kilometers northwest of the island of Borkum in one of the main shipping lanes of the German Bight. The ships stationed at this position were designated as the Borkumriff lightship.
