Post your 2024 Landscapes

I had to double, then triple take on this image. At first I thought it was 2 separate images..
It actually has all three full elements.. The sky, the land and the water, but the colors all blend together so well.
I really like this photograph
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! :giggle:

Is that Mr Baker? I can't quite figure out where this was taken.. :wat:
I'm not sure either. Shot was taken from Langley on Whidbey Island looking east-ish. I think Mt. Baker is too far north, and Mt Rainier too far south. My best guess is Mt. Pilchuck, or a peak in that vicinity.

Might be Glacier Peak. It has that profile with 3-4 peaks in the center and a long slope to a big shoulder on the right. I've hiked in that area but don't know if it is visible from Whidbey Island.

I posted this on another board and another photographer made a pretty good argument for Glacier Peak. He thought that Pilchuck is the peak in shadow in the foreground with Glacier Peak in the sun in the background. He was saying that you can't really see Glacier from the coastal mainland. The closer mountains are in the way. You need to get back on Whidbey Island to get a glimpse.
