I can never seem to get these kinds of shots without getting my feet in the shot.

It would have been difficult to get my feet in this shot unless I was upside-down. The view is towards the top of the lighthouse. And yet, there are feet in there, difficult to make out, as some very noisy and unruly scouts were trampling up the metal stairs at the time above us.
