Fortune cookies in China! I haven't seen them anywhere else in China!
They were invented in California, USA (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fortune_cookie ) . This is near the Great Wall of China, near Beijing, so I suppose enough westerners visit to have them. I wonder how many can read the sign? "help you find the luck of "repitition". The bottom says you can take one free, the price is one Yuan RMB per cookie. The fortunes say that if you get a fortune with text matching the image, you can get a lucky gift (a little recursive!)
