Patience is sometimes important in wildlife photography.
Yesterday morning I was setup in my pop-up blind at the water's edge at 5:20am
Sunrise was 6:20am but there was a dense fog.
I thought about packing up, but decided to stick it out until 9am
At 8am, a breeze made the water ripples and ideally I want calm water.
But I waited and the breeze calmed down at 830.
At 9am, just as I was about to pack up, this drake canvasback swam around
the corner and was right in front of my pop-up blind.
