A local girl paints these by hand. The figure itself (not including the mount) is about 2" tall. I think it's almost like stage makeup; you get in too close and you can see how unnatural it is but the detail is just phenomenal and from a foot away it all smooths out. This is an in-camera stack of about 20 images, increment 5, remote flash from the near left, f/11, EF 100 2.8 macro, R3.
I will probably shoot more of these so I will try a few different angles and so forth. Suggestions welcome.
