The George Hotel and Pilgrims' Inn in Glastonbury, Somerset, England, was built in the late 15th century to accommodate visitors to Glastonbury Abbey. It has been designated as a Grade I listed building. It is claimed to be the oldest purpose built public house in the South West of England.

Yeah I had lunch with a chap from the states years and he was flabbergasted many of the churches were 1000 years old. I then pointed some were founded 760 AD.

Tithe Barn at Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire. It dates from about 1340 It was built for the Abbey of Shaftesbury in 1340. It measures 168 by 33 feet (51 by 10m) and is one of the largest medieval barns in England.
