I had a friend who who loved shooting ducks, but hated eating them. Every couple of weeks he'd drop by the cleaned ducks. Yummy. But a different kind of shooting I guess.

I'd also like to drop a snare net onto the Canada geese that overpopulate the grounds
where my apartment is and take them to a local game processor, but that's not exactly legal here,
what with all the potential witnesses.

This little black duck was marching through my Bateman's Bay motel parking lot, I think heading to relieve the "duck on duty" on the inlet out the back. It was weather only a duck could love.
Made it to the little neighborhood "lake" with my relatively new (to me) lens for my obligatory duck shot This guy was gracious enough to come in close.
