Did you try melatonin? If not, next time give it a go. It sort of resets your circadian rhythm. I found it most useful when traveling to Japan, then back.... The worst was the first week I came back from India recently - I went to bed between 10 and 11pm CET, but woke up between 7 and 8am Indian time, so between 2.30 and 3.30am CET, and couldn't get back to sleep.

The problem of many companies nowadays is young dynamic management without experience...The retirement age in Norway is 67 years, I’m 70 so I worked 3years «overtime». I intended to work until I’m 72 years old, but the company said «No» and sent me home with 6 months pay! Well, in one way I can understand the company. They want a young, dynamic profile and we oldtimers are not into that category exactly. But on the other hand, they send more than 50 years of experience home on one week notice. But that is not my problem now!
