St Joseph's in West Roxbury MA, memorial on left is for my late son Sean Patrick, was an EMT and Science Teacher, just got his Masters in Education when he suddenly died at age 29, they brought his diploma to us at the wake. on the right is my Dad Sgt Leon Padell Sgt USMC Iwo Jima Saipan (Bronze Star), Tinian and Roi Namur.

This is the Gebeinhaus (Bone House) located in the basement of Michaels Chapel, Oppenheim, Germany. It contains bones from approximately 20,000 people from the years 1400-1750 AD.

Military memorial cemetery in Rhenen - Netherlands for victims of WWII, my uncle who fought on the Grebbeberg and was killed 4 days after the start of the war is also buried there. The Netherlands capitulated due to the bombing of Rotterdam only 1 day after his death.

I don't have too many of these types of shots. I worked with a fellow for over 35 years and his uncle died in China during WW2. They knew his name was listed at this cemetery/memorial in Hong Kong. Last time we went we found it. We took lots of pictures and he and his family were blown away.



No headstone but his name is on this memorial. He as in the Winnipeg Grenadiers. The province named a lake after him in Manitoba, Canada.
