Made the migration from POTN

Hello all! I'm sure glad this platform has taken on all of soon-to-be-refugees from POTN (like me). I have not changed much (other than getting older, but haven't we all??), but I will make note of my new avatar. My old one was a throwback to Doctor Strangelove, but nobody seemed to notice.

So here is my old avatar for those who associate people with images:

I most certainly knew that your avatar was from Dr. Strangelove. And my guess is that a whole lot of people knew that. It was such an iconic character. George C. Scott at his best. And now we just have to get used to another avatar. We can do that, no problem.

Welcome and glad you came. I think you'll find Focus to be a comfortable fit. It's not POTN, but so much of what made POTN special was the community and Focus is growing daily.

Welcome! I always liked POTN but now Focus, it is a judgement free zone where I and others can share our photography without feeling we are being judged. Unlike my local camera club where especially in the competitions you have to measure up to various judges feelings and eccentricities here I can share pictures I like not only what someone else likes...
