The restoration and sign happened after I moved away. Parts of the movie were filmed in Ridgway, Ouray, Owl Creek Pass, Yankee Boy Basin and just off CO 62. You got some really nice scenes on you trip.

Last Dollar Ranch was the film location for multiple commercials, most notably the old Marlboro Man ads.

I have always been a great fan of old westerns and other Hollywood classics and I remember True Grit well. I also remember the second film with Katherine Hepburn. She and Wayne were great together.
