I started this over yonder unbeknown there was a "Let's see your fence photos" by BostonBoy.
It appears he hasn't been around since 2019.
Both threads got equally populated but I was never happy I'd intervened.
I'll start this with a favourite interest of mine.
Fences are more than just a means of keeping things in or out, aesthetic attributes to a town house etc
My interest in fences are primarily from boundary definition.
And this is one that warms the hearts of older boundary surveyors.
A post and rail fence, in the bush that probably is about 60 plus years old.
Unfortunately this one was a red herring and just "a fence of convenience" put there by early stockmen to keep cattle controlled.
