Thanks Peter, I think the Sigma lenses have come a long way, and this variant is reflective of their improvements.
The biggest surprise in the move from Canon to the SL2 sensor is the colours - I suspect this to be due to the lack of anti-alias (Low-pass) filter.

I thought as much. More than any other city, it has the Bladerunner vibe. Although Bladerunner is supposed to be based in some futuristic version of Los Angeles where the weather is screwed up so much that it rains nonstop.

Yes, I always placed Bladerunner in a future Hong Kong - with their high rises, narrow streets and monsoon rains ...
