Man, I just found out about that new lens. The biggest thing I don't like about the Q is the 28mm FOV - it's difficult to use because of how wide it is. I guess I'll have to start saving my pennies for the 43mm. Hopefully the high demand is temporary and not like the X100 series...where the used ones go for more than new ones. Nice shots, cool camera.

The APO lens, as expected, really is exceptional and my preference is to use any lens wide open... the FOV 43mm is something I am getting use to, as have generally used wider or much longer. I picked up the Sigma 50mm f1.2 for the SL2 and this is another exceptional lens wide open... again the FOV is somewhat new for me as never really had a 'standard' prime lens before.

The Q is a light package and I now see why it has been popular- stock was easy to source here in Aus. placed a deposit on day of announcement and picked it up a few days later, so they seem to have got their logistics 7 production better aligned.

I was hoping for a Q3M version.. but then again maybe not.
