Yes, word has spread about POTN's demise and the closer we are getting to the 31st, the more people seem to be coming in to take a look at what this POTN is all about. They're only looking.

And the 120 members online are not really contributing much. Not a lot gets posted these days. 3 new threads in the last 24 hours. First page of New Posts covers less than 24 hours.

I would post a lot more, but something is holding me back at times. Many a time I will think of something, and I would like to post about. But after reading how some threads get replied to, I tend to get very wary. I never used POTN, so I don't know how threads got replied to over there.

Numbers can be deceiving though.

Focus on Photography's stats from yesterday, 23 December 2023:
New Posts: 573
Likes: 2902

New Posts on Focus is about 10 times the number of New Posts on POTN with 57.9 new posts from 12/15 to 12/19 (it's probably even lower now, as it's been in decline for weeks now). POTN has two, three, four new threads a day now. There's no comparison with FoP.

So there are a lot of guests visiting POTN but there's not much actual traffic going on.

We are doing good.

I would post a lot more, but something is holding me back at times. Many a time I will think of something, and I would like to post about. But after reading how some threads get replied to, I tend to get very wary. I never used POTN, so I don't know how threads got replied to over there.

I haven't seen any photos being trashed. In discussions, if a post is so rude or insulting as to amount to a rule violation, you can use the Report button to call mods' attention to it.
