A simple, traditional way to make applesauce. Apple slices, lemon, cinnamon stick, brown sugar.

Simmer until mashable. Mash. That's it!

What did you make? How'd you do it?
 
My maternal grandmother used to make a somewhat chunky applesauce,
and I loved how she would put a large dollop of it atop the giant shredded wheat
cereal biscuits we used to be able to buy from grocery stores. Pour a bit of milk
into the bowl, crush it up some, and enjoy!

There's lots of stuff I make in my cooking.
I'll have to grab images the next times I'm making some of my signature dishes.
Stroganof, lasagna, seafood & pasta salad, potroast & spaghetti, pork roast and pulled pork,
baked mac & cheese, potato salad, etc...
