How to like a post

Looked in the FAQ's and tried using the search option but can't find the answer.

How do I like a post? I assumed clicking on the blue at the bottom of a post would work but nothing happens. What am I missing?

Oh, if I click on the names of folks that have liked a post I do get the popup window showing who has liked the post

PS: Using a Mac and Safari if that makes a difference.

Ok looks after I made the above post I now see the "Like" "Quote" and "Reply" icons are now showing up on the right side at the bottom of posts. So it appears I had to make one post before I could like something.

I didn't check every thread but it appears the only place I'm not able to do a "Like" is in the "Fine Art Glamor & Nude Photography" section. I know on POTN I could not post or comment in that area because I did not have enough posts on the forum. But I was still able to "Like" posts in that section. It appears that is not possible over here. Is that correct?

To Like a post, you click Like. What's different at this new forum is, you get a choice of ways to "react" to the post: heart, trophy, and others. These are represented by icons to click. The default is a plain Like (blue).

The popup window was a HeadsUp. It was Pekka's invention for POTN and doesn't exist here. You can see who else gave Likes at the bottom left of a post.
