I'm afraid you'll need to explain - never saw it or read the book.
The development team assembled in mid-October, using a private discussion board. Gathering information and planning took up most of the time. Once a XenForo board had been secured, a subset of team members (not including me) came here and got it ready. It was opened to the remaining team members a week ago. So, basically, the project took a month to get to its current form. It's an ongoing project. You'll notice changes in design and features as the work continues.
joayne, I've heard that rule about Fight Club but never about this forum, which I sincerely hope won't become anything like a fight club. My post didn't endanger anyone's privacy. No names were named.

I'll grab a little slice of the credit--different people worked on parts of the project, jointly or individually--and thank you for my share of your kind words. It took some patience to read the posts by naysayers who said we were naively underestimating the difficulty (no, we knew it'd be difficult) and the whole thing would blow up one way or another.Wow, it's some excellent work done in just a month.
I genuinely admire the long hours it must have required to make it happen,
and I'm seriously happy to see so many familiar names here already.
Major kudos to all who made it happen.
