Hi there. I used to post on POTN - birds mostly - but I'm only a hobby photographer and couldn't match the awesome standard there so I bowed out of posting. For the same reason I doubt I'll post much here, but I shall follow posts with interest. I learnt so much from the other site and I'm sure that will continue here.

Welcome, Jack! It’s perfectly fine if you don’t post photos. Please do participate if you can, ask questions, etc. There are excellent photographers here as you have observed and they are pretty helpful with hardware as well as photography questions. Of course, lurking is perfectly fine too!

Hi Jack! I remember you very well. You used to be active in the birds forum and then you were gone. I wish you would start posting your pics again here at Focus. To not post because you think you cannot match a certain standard, is not how you should feel or look at it. This is not a competition but a shared passion and we are all at different skill levels but we share our images equally, without judgment. I for one would welcome your images. At least think about it?
