Hello all!

Hello Chief! welcome aboard - great to see you here

Welcome to Focus, glad to have you aboard. I think you'll find the new Focus forum comfortable and familiar yet also new. If you know of others that have not heard of the pending POTN closure, feel free to send them an invite to Focus.

Salamat for the welcome!

I plan on being more active here and over at POTN. I'm going to develope my first roll of B&W film this weekend. Last time I did any developing was in 96 but I was heavily into the Darkroom scene in the mid 70's to mid 80's. It's good to be back the saddle again. One other thing, Bought some junk cameras and lenses and learning how to repair camera and Lenses, might come in handy in the Philippines😉

Cool. We have a dedicated Film forum here with plenty of space for your endeavours! :giggle:

If I may be so bold as to suggest it, there is another place you should look at, @Chief_10Beers :

It's completely independent of POTN or this forum, but it holds tons of information
about vintage lenses, films, old cameras, and a bunch of other stuff.
It's how I began to discover using vintage lenses on modern cameras,
and has many film users among the member ranks.

I mention this because I know of a few other other POTNers who have also been active
at the mflenses.com site, and I'd like to see more of them joining up here.

I'll definitely check it out, I do have a FD to EOS adapter, works really good!

Feel free to invite them. Get the word out. I would love to see the film section grow here at Focus especially old school manual lenses.
