General photos

I notice that in the photo sharing forum there doesn't seem to be a place for sharing either photos that don't fit in the categories offered, or that are being shared for a specific purpose, such as having a photo published in a magazine, or getting a book published, for example.

There is a fairly well-used thread on POTN for sharing photos that got into Flickr Explore. I came here today to start a similar thread and didn't know where to put it. Can we have a new subforum, perhaps called 'General' in the Photo sharing forum, please?

Hey Garry,

Being published in a magazine, getting a book published and other similar topics should all go in the Presentation & Building Galleries forum, which resides in the Post Processing, Marketing & Presenting Photos section.

The flickr Explore thread you speak of also resides there on POTN. So why not start your thread in the same forum here?
