Forum home page not working

Folks, you may have noticed that the main forum landing page with the photo gallery is not working at the moment. The forum error logs show a series of errors that may be related to this and we are digging into. It may be a while before this gets sorted out.

In the meantime, please use the forum list page as your starting point for navigating the site. Most you probably do this already, but just in case you were wondering what's going on with the main page....

Good job! Just one thing may need an adjustment. When I checked a moment ago, the featured images contained not one bird photo! This omission is truly anomalous.

There were several last night. I’ll look into it. I didn’t change anything as far as the selection is concerned, so it ought not be different from before.

Come on, Sam, it's random. "Several last night" is more typical--that was the basis for my comment.

Sam, there's no need to look. Getting zero birds on one toss of the dice is so rare that I used it to make fun of the frequent overabundance of birds. Sometimes birds account for half or more of the images on Home. A newcomer might think this is mostly a forum for bird shots at the expense of everything else.
