Digital Speed Challenge #883 - Artwork​

in the Air Force, Air Force Form 883 was a work ticket that we used in the Audio-Visual shop for ordering any kind of Art or Photo or Video work.

since i dont know who has the capability to do video THATS out. we all are photographers so ANY photo of ANY subject matter is acceptable. we used 883s for portrait work, or processes, or evidence (damage to government facilities, or OF damage to equipment due to any issue or person). if you have a great photo of some sort of Art regardless of media used (paint, charcoal, metal work, string art) is acceptable too!


This challenge begins when posted and ends at noon GMT on Monday, 3 November 2025

we're wide open so lets see your photos of artwork (or YOUR artwork)

The Challenge Rules

1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed.
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: Maximum image size is 1600px on the long end. Minimum size is 800px.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like,
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer per challenge. List camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data: ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
6. Commenting: No commenting and Likes during challenge. After the challenge is closed and voting is finished discussion is encouraged.
7. Keep it clean, and both family and work safe.
8. Have lots of FUN.

these are ALL so good.

the painting, the photo with a painting app, the sharp b/w image, and again another painting looking photo.

this is why i hate winning. having to make a decision.

even though its NOT a real painting but an edited photo to look like one, ive got to go with Don (Old Crow). i just LOVE that look. it reminds me of tech school where they TRIED to teach us some of those painting techniques. 4 months just wasnt long enough to get the hang of it...
