Glad I saw this. i haven’t upgraded to Sonoma at all so now I’m gonna sit tight.

I didn’t know about this and updated to 14.2 last night. Won’t affect me because I pre-cull off the card using Canon’s DPP, drag the remaining files to a folder on the desktop and import from there. That’s working fine.

So you can still import. If have not updated to 14.2 might be good to hold off unless you don’t mind importing off the desktop.

I upgrated to Sonoma the day it was released. No issues with Adobe products or anything else. I know people like to wait for a while.

I mind. :bat:

14.2.1 is the fix

Did 14.2.1 really fix issue. Was the “Human Test” performed where people had issues created with Import issue and then resolved in 14.2.1.
I am on the latest version of Ventura and want to upgrade OS to Sonoma and not want to disrupt my LrC workflow.
Thanks.

Try a search here or read the link from post 1. Rikk Flohr has an update.

As for Sonoma I installed it the day it was released and both my iMac and Air worked great. I drag my files off the card reader to the desktop so this glitch that apparently has been resolved didn't effect me.

I just updated today from Monterey (I usually skip alternate major macOS versions). I got 14.2.1, but I haven't done anything with LrC yet. I usually import from SD cards the way they say in the "workaround" anyway.

I Import by DATE through LrC from CF Card Reader.
With thanks to many here I did not update to Sonoma 14.2 as everything was working in OS Ventura.
Happily to report that all is well as I updated to OS Sonoma 14.2.1 last Thursday.
Enjoy.

I updated to Sonoma the day it was released which I did with the two previous updates. Within a week anyway. I realize that people warn not to do so. This problem only happened with14.2 and took only 7 days.
