So, it's been tossed around a bit on the old POTN site about what to do with the 'Where's Nifty' section there. I thought it was a really fun and interesting concept. I know the sending of the lenses is now over but there were some great photos from that adventure of those lenses. Those lenses were in so many hands and many hundreds of photos were taken with those lenses. I believe there were at least 3-4 lenses in circulation at one point (more than likely 3 as one of them had died).

But I think we should somehow resurrect the Where's Nifty photos here. There was some talk about getting Carzee to start a post here but he hasn't logged into POTN for about 4 months now. If he does surface then yes, he should be the one to start a new post here regarding the Nifty travels. As I mentioned on POTN, maybe call it 'Where Was Nifty'. Keep the same rules especially only posting photos that were taken with those lenses. It could be difficult to moderate though.

Another idea would be to just have posts specific to that lens (if there already isn't a Nifty section here yet). But yeah, I think that traveling Nifty series should be kept alive. It was pretty cool!

Has Peter (AKIWI) turned up on here yet? I’ve been going through some of mine to get the text that goes with my images. He hosted after me and had some fab images.

haven't seen Peter on the board for a few years sadly. Bet he had all his pix backed up though!

I saved all of the pages with my photos in it in PDF Format so I have all of my text (I was very descriptive with my photos too) and photos.

Yes, I plan on starting some sort of a Nifty Memory thread. I have a lot going on IRL at this very moment and barely have time to manage. Give me a bit of time :namaste;
Not a problem. We totally understand. Do it when you have the time. There's no rush on that.
