Past midnight here and there, so time to sound the bell to end the round. A small but upbeat collection.

Sherry - Really liked the comp, colour and isolation of your foreground trombone player - and the eye contact
Don - A really, really good and interesting shot - lots of warmth, movement and "colour" even in B&W
Rosalie - This one is also hard to beat (ouch). Another good one.

Sooo - Difficult, but #1 goes to Sherry, and HMs to Don and to Rosalie. Thanks for taking the time!

Sherry, lead us onward.

I took the photo at the annual Veterans Day parade which goes past my house and I wanted to contrast it with one I had of my daughter marching in a parade 45 of more years earlier. But that photo wasn't taken with a digital camera.

Oh, my! Thanks for the win! I started photographing band shows when my daughter was in marching band. They asked me to stay on after she graduated, so I did it for 15 years. I loved doing it, so it was never work.

Let me think of a theme for the next round and I'll post it up shortly.
