As a photographer and artist, I love concepts like empty space and contrast. The eye doesn't need to see what the brain knows is there.

Dropping detail into shadow and creating voids for your brain to fill makes for greater depth to peer into, while inspiring curiosity that asks questions.

This is just messing around under a single overhead light, then desaturating and adjusting levels and curves hard. I have tons of ideas barrelling around in my head, but unfortunately the only person I have to experiment on is myself.

Imgur hosted images (such as the above) are blocked in the UK. A workaround for that is to have images on this forum hosted here as attachments rather than embeds.

Correct, it is a UK issue.

David, does your server have room for folks to do this? I've always used outside image hosting to alleviate the storage load on fora. Happy to upload directly if you prefer.
