Chemin de Fer du Vivarais (France)

When staying in Tournon-sur-Rhône we visited the Chemin de Fer du Vivarais which runs a steam train between St-Jean-de-Muzols and Lamastre, along the banks of the river Doux.

1 - All quiet in St-Jean-de-Muzols before the train from Lamastre arrives



2 - At exactly 5 p.m. the train appears on the steep bank leading into the station



3 - Running along the platform



4 - Some lubrication and cleaning after arrival

5 - Taking in coal for the next day



6 - On the turntable so it can go out the next day "chimney first"



7 - And into the shed for a quiet night
