One of Canon's most underrated lenses.

I had this lens and returned it. I’m kind of sorry I jumped to conclusions.

I bought the RF 24-105 F/4.

I'm interested in buying one. I just missed two used ones for a decent price in my area lately. I'll keep an eye open during the next few months as I feel it could be a great option for a longer family trip next year.

In retrospect I should have kept it. I got all fussy about a couple of images that had a lot of vignette. Jump the gun.

I always have two toddlers running circles around me when I'm out taking pictures nowadays, so sharpness and other optical flaws are less important to me than versatility. If I had thirty minutes to set up every shot, I would certainly make different choices. But I've seen some people on POTN getting excellent results with the 24-240 (C Scott IV for example) and I'm pretty sure I could make good use of it.
