Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM discuss and post pictures

I got one when I bought my RP, they had a deal where if you bought a refurb R or RP, you could add this lens for like $99 or something silly. I figured I needed something to shoot with my new body so I grabbed one. The range is great and Ive used it a TON. It does have some heavy vignette at 24mm but its easily corrected with adobe

That's a nice shot, Geoff, and thanks for contributing!

The 24-105STM is definitely a fun lens to leave on the camera. Grab and Go!

I know I have taken A LOT more with it, i just havent uploaded any from what I could find. Also theres some from other threads posted here, and i dont think the Mods like the cross posting very much.

It has also proven to be fairly robust as well. Ive had mine in the sand, rain, cold and snow, it just shakes it all off and keeps going.

Folks, as you all know, we have a section on the site called the Lens Sample Archive. There is a thread there for every lens commonly in use and the ability to add more lenses as needed. The two stickies at the top are intended to make searching for your specific lens easier. The archive is a great idea from POTN, meant to showcase the best photos taken with that lens. It is a wonderful resource to peruse if you are looking to see what the lens can do in the hands a wide range of people using it.

There are some amazing photos on this thread. Please do consider posting your best photos in the Lens Sample Archive thread. The archive is a showcase for the best photos with this lens, so please be picky but the idea is to have a resource that is useful for everyone. Crossposting to that thread with photos that you are shared in one of the photo sharing forums is acceptable.
