I was at the beach the other day and there were some guys surfing, so just took some pics of the surfers as well. These were with 1.4x extender attached and also cropped in post.

Fantastic action shots! I've got to say, surfing in the North Sea in winter is pretty hardcore! It's cold on the West Coast of the US due to the Alaska current, but I'm sure it's nothing compared to up there!

Thanks. There were multiple surfers out, all wearing wetsuits, so I guess it is pretty doable.

Yes, some claim that the warbler migration is the most colorful and spectacular migration on earth. People from all corners of the world come to our area to witness this yearly event. As far as varieties, it is not unusual to see 33~36 different species come through starting in April. I usually stop chasing them by mid-May once the foliage fills out - it's hard enough to capture them even when the branches are bare.
