Would love it if Bryan at The Digital Picture or some other reputable reviewer would investigate if 1.4x extenders are Ever worth it... or if just cropping is better...

This will be a great lens... if it does come, especially if it is followed up with the rumored switchable 1x, 1.4x & 2.0x teleconverter.
