supposedly this beast is to be released 2023.... anyways.... this writeup says it won't have the 1.4x and should be lighter. Maybe even hand-holdable... maybe $15K...

I like to think I'll fall into some money some decade....

Would love it if Bryan at The Digital Picture or some other reputable reviewer would investigate if 1.4x extenders are Ever worth it... or if just cropping is better...

This will be a great lens... if it does come, especially if it is followed up with the rumored switchable 1x, 1.4x & 2.0x teleconverter.
