I took this as a test of image quality for my little RF50, the nifty fifty. Not bad at all, I think. Are any other FoP followers fans of this cheap little lens? I love it.

Put my Samyang 12/2.8 fisheye on my R5 and.... the shutter button wouldn't function. Fiddled around with all kinds of things to see what the issue was and then went to Google for help.

The Samyang 12/2.8 is a MF lens. It was the first time I was using a MF lens on a mirrorless camera and didn't realize that the default setting was for the shutter to NOT actuate when no lens is present. And with a lens like the Samyang 12/2.8, that does not communicate with the camera, the camera doesn't know that there is a lens and therefore would not activate the shutter. Perhaps this was common knowledge to all of you but something I just discovered. Changed the setting on the camera and all was well!

Good info Sam. Especially for someone who just bought an R5!
