Hey Levina... Thanks for the comment... There's actually a great story behind this particular lens... I purchased it in 2009 from Paramount Pictures!!! They were selling off old gear with new ones... In this case, they were upgrading to the 200 2L IS glass... Anyhoo... The gentleman that was handling the sale mentioned that my 200 1.8L was used to capture many poster board photos for movies, as well as several DVD cover cases...
So I guess it was well used before I bought it... But the glass is still razor sharp, til this day... I usually, if not always, shoot wide open on this glass... It hasn't disappointed me with what it can produce... I'll post more recent work soon... Hopefully with my new acquired R3 body... Now that it has IBIS!!! woot woot...
