Great wide angle lens, one of the best in the market and certainly the best in the EF mount imo.

We had a beautiful trip planed to Rome/Florence/Venice back in 2020.

Had to cancel the whole thing. Thanks COVID.

Since then my wife and I don’t think we’re up to all the walking that would be required for that trip. Bummer.

So we just go to Paris instead.

Get a Rok 14/2.8. That should be wide enough for most things. And its pretty cheap and sharp.

Good for buildings in tight areas. Some perspective correction in Neo.

All hope is not lost. There seems to be an RF mount version of this lens available!

This lens in the EF mount was notoriously variable for quality with soft corners, so you have to keep looking until you find one with good cross-field sharpness. Also, it is fully manual with no communication to the camera, so no AF which of course is no big deal at 14mm.
