What was once a durable and reliable Wireless Radio Frequency Speedlite system, the Wireless RF is a total mess, losing connection with in minutes or after two or the clicks of the shutter.
Trouble shooting like a professional, as I have 5 600 EX-RT Speedlites and two ST-E3 RT Transmitters. Also Link Drop is raising its head into the newer offereings like the EL-1 and 5..
Are there any other brands that are not suffering from Link Drop in the manner of the old once reliable work horses for me to consider that others have been using reliably?

This might shed some insight...

Apparently the issue is interference by other signal sources, and the solution that folks resort to is to use a different brand of flash. Canon eTTL has not been the most endearing...flakey connections between the flash and the camera while mounted on the hotshoe made me largely abandon eTTL for photosensor Auto mode two decades ago!
