Canon 40D

A 40D was my first DSLR, and I was really impressed with it. Sadly, it met its demise falling about 30' and bouncing off a rock. I shot with it for 4 years before it met its end. I had picked up a 7D, so I wasn't shooting the 40D as much, but still used it as my backup camera. Ran a 70-200 f/2.8L ISon the 7D and an EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS when I was shooting HS basketball games from under the net. Nice to see that you're still getting great shots with it!!!

Hope to see pics from your good ol' 40D. I appreciate you chiming in. Good Sir 🤙PicsArt_04-28-05.38.36.jpg

Going to have to locate my old 40D along with the XTi and pair of 7D’s and give them a nice cleaning and display them here in the house….

wow....40d, reminds me of when I started out with a 30d. Those were good cameras back then.
They were, and they still are.

I have a 50D along with a 5D Mk IV, and they both hold up.
The XTi and 40D have been very good, also.

And I still get some great images from my S3 iS.

If you know how to use it, you'll get great images from them.
Some processing helps, but getting it right is a great reward.
Learn how to use it for what you want to accomplish.
Everything else falls into place afterwards.
