Aero L-159 Alca. The Czech military air force operates 24 aircraft of this type, eight of which are two-seat versions used for training. At present, there is a dispute between the government and the president: the president has stated that we could hand over four single-seat aircraft to Ukraine without any problems, while the government argues that they are essential for our own potential defense. Production was discontinued in 2016 and cannot be resumed, nor can spare parts for these machines be manufactured.

The Let L-13 Blaník is a legendary Czechoslovak two-seat trainer glider designed in the 1950s. Its production ran from 1958 to about 1978, with more than 3 000 aircraft built across all variants, making it one of the most numerous and widely used gliders in the world. The Blaník was exported to over 40 countries, including large numbers to both Eastern Bloc states and Western Europe, North America, Australia and Canada.

Let L-13TJ Blaník (OK-1840)
A unique experimental version of the famous Czech L-13 Blaník glider, modified as a flying testbed for the PBS TJ100 small turbojet engine. Unlike the standard two-seat training glider, OK-1840 was used to evaluate jet engine performance in real flight conditions.

A few passenger aircraft taking off before the airspace closed for the Singapore Airshow 2026 rehearsal. The sky was hazy, so some shots are in black-and-white to suit the washed-out colors.
