These 2 photos were part of The Wittliff Collections at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.

Looks like a beautiful museum. Lights are wonderful. Reminds me of the Rijksmuseum here in Amsterdam. Oh, now I have a thread to put those pics in!!

This painting was made by several inmates. Each inmate made a part, which was later combined. The painting hangs in the Prison Museum in Veenhuizen.

Thanks, Sam. I wish I had info but I'm typically not very reliable at gathering information when I'm out and about with a camera - even when traveling abroad. I'm so intent on getting shots that I often lose the significance of what it is that I am photographing.

So if anyone else has details of the "floating red sphere", please let us know!
