Beautiful images, Annie. Good to see your thread up!
I do wonder in which museums/galleries your images were taken?
Thank you so much, @Levina de Ruijter! These 2 photos were part of The Wittliff Collections at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. I'll edit the photos to add that info. Appreciate your help and kind words.

This painting was made by several inmates. Each inmate made a part, which was later combined. The painting hangs in the Prison Museum in Veenhuizen.

A painting made by Bartholomew van der Helst named: Banquet in Celebration of the Treaty of Munster, 1648. He is a Dutch painter. The painting is in het Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Painted life sized to fill a wall, 2.32 x 5.47 meters

Cool shot! Can you share a little bit of about the artwork? Looks very interesting and I wonder what the artist was conceptualizing here.
Thanks, Sam. I wish I had info but I'm typically not very reliable at gathering information when I'm out and about with a camera - even when traveling abroad. I'm so intent on getting shots that I often lose the significance of what it is that I am photographing.

So if anyone else has details of the "floating red sphere", please let us know!
