Allen's Hummingbirds in my backyard

In Pasadena, CA. The male was the resident and a bully - would chase away every other interloper and guarded the feeder 24/7 even though there was enough nectar there to feed a dozen hummingbirds. The female would hang out occasionally in my backyard.

Both lovely images Sam, something I'm unlikely to ever see in the wild, it's not the same in a zoo! It's a pity exif info isn't easily displayed though.

Exif info is perfectly displayed, Sid. I did the upload method just to ensure that. What browser do you use ? Do you have find right plugin?

You're right mate, I don't know why it wasn't for yours but showing for others with the plugin I installed for my browser, it is just fine now. But, it transpires, I'm a hypocrite anyway as the exif for the images I've been posting isn't transferring from flickr like I thought it would be, which isn't very good at all! I'll have to change something!

Anyway, your images are still lovely despite the exif thing!

We get hummingbirds at our feeders all summer long but it's winter now so I have to be content with viewing images provided by others. Very nice indeed
