Care to share a little information on the cultural aspects of the headdress and event?

I was attending the annual Chiang Rai Akha Swing Festival. This is the most important gathering of the Akha people and brings together many hill tribes from the North of Thailand. A search on Google will provide lots of info rather than me waffle on here. I have stayed in Akha, Lisu and Karen villages in the mountains where I shoot them. Great to see that they have not lost their culture.
