Yes there are a lot more species with harmless lifestyles than ones we think of as pests.

Don’t you have giant flying roaches?
We have them in Hawai’i. Very large and they fly. Get caught in your hair

No flying ones that I know of but Texas is a big place. Might be more toward the coast. We have wood roaches, harmless but still.

Males can fly but they don't unless they have to.
