Shooting through the wax paper almost makes it look like a glazed window.

Thanks! I was lucky it wasn't moving around much and it posed for me, Also, my 200-600mm lens helps. It flies between that perch on the bridge rail and a large maple oak about 100 feet away when it is hunting.

Another try for 39/52. This time with a mix of real a faux flora shooting through document protectors. I like this better than the wax paper.

Interesting, I’d never have thought of using a document protector as a soft filter for an image.

I had to use three to get the opacity I wanted. Some are more opaque than others.

Thanks Lesley. We came through with no damage just plenty of yard debris. Locally tree damage clean up continues. Almost back to normal here.

Maple leaves but not sugar Maple. Did not toy with color or saturation, did do a slight shift of the black point.

41/52 Shot through a square of scotch tape attached to a filter holder producing sort of an unexpected Orton effect. I took another image without the scotch tape filter, layered the two and erased the blur over the flower. Interesting result.
