Another thread inspired by the music many of us grew up with.

Post photos of:

But they must be ALONE.

My first is this:


This is Kinko Bay, which sweeps around Kagoshima City, Japan.

It was a blisteringly cold Monday today, and this guy was 2km out, in >10m/s winds, falling off so much, I was a little concerned.

So we waited until we knew he was definitely able to come back.

A good few additions above - thanks for joining in the fun - and here's my first from today.

A monochrome image, because that's ok too, of course.

I had to shoot through my car's front windscreen while the traffic lights were red.
But the sheer scale of housing behind this lady, as she tottered up the exceedingly steep slope really grabbed my attention.

To contrast with the above shot, this widow was cleaning her husband's grave.

The red hat stood out like a sore thumb amongst all the grey stonework, but I think it makes the image.

This man was stopped at a red light in front of me, and he was muttering the whole time.

I couldn't help but feel he's going through something traumatic...
...but then the lights went green and he shot off

The main river in Kagoshima City and we spotted this lady walking alone, along a 1.6km stretch before disappearing around a bend in the river.

I hope the safety she clearly assumes she has, doesn't change in the upcoming years.
